Alabama football flipped longtime Iowa five-star offensive tackle commit Kadyn Proctor one day before the early national signing period opens.

Proctor, 6-foot-7, 330 pounds,this past weekend and an official visit during the summer. Oregon was also in the mix.

The No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation gives Alabama four five-stars entering the signing period. He joins these five-star commits: Georgia safety Caleb Downs; Florida edge Keon Keeley; and Georgia running back Justice Haynes, a Georgia legacy. Proctor committed to in-state Iowa in June, but recruiting experts predicted him to sign with Alabama after his last-minute visit.
