A Rogersville man died Monday night in Lauderdale County in a crash that involved three people operating motorcycles.
Cpl. Reginal M. King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the incident happened at about 9:35 p.m. on Alabama 207 near the 11 mile marker, about three miles north of Anderson.
According to King, Jessie J. Mabe, 29, was operating a 2007 Suzuki GSX R-600 motorcycle when it struck a 2006 Honda CBR-600 motorcycle, operated by Hannah S. Mabe, 30, of Rogersville, and a 2009 Honda CBR-900 motorcycle operated by Adam K. Russell, 34, of Pulaski, Tenn. Then, Jessie Mabe’s motorcycle left the roadway and struck a sign post. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
