The new route is on top of Glasgow Airport’s Jet2 summer 24 programme that was recently expanded to five destinations, including Ibiza, Izmir, Reus, Bodrum and Rhodes. The airline was forced to cancel all its flights to Rhodes over the weekend as wildfires continue to rage across Greece. It was revealed earlier in the month that revenues at airline and leisure group Jet2 have rebounded following renewed consumer confidence.
