Rhys McCabe's side were trailing by two goals with 10 minutes to go, but came up with the goods to draw

Airdrie boss Rhys McCabe admits a 'moment of magic' from substitute Aaron Reid was the spark his side needed to grab a dramatic draw at Hamilton Accies and end their losing streak.

McCabe said: "It is a wee bit of magic that has picked the spirits up. It is a hell of a header from Aaron Reid. You could see everyone around him when that happened that they got a sense of 'we can get back into this'. "I think a draw is the minimum we deserve in terms of the performance levels but I stress that if you are gifting teams goals an advantage like we did today - easily avoidable goals from our point of view and our mistakes - we need to be better.

The character of fellow scorer Aiken, in particular, delighted McCabe, with the Hibs loanee atoning for giving the ball away in the lead up to Hamilton's second goal.
