'What a weekend, well done to you all, absolutely fantastic'
Twenty-two venues participated in a community music event which saw talented artists perform, attracting music lovers from across the borough.
Many people came from out of town to attend the event which meant cafes nearby were busy with customers. In total 40 bands/artists from acoustic solo artists to folk and rock bands performed across the borough including in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington and Baxenden.Venues that took part include The Commercial in Accrington, The Albion in Clayton-le-Moors and Baxenden Village Club and much more. Victoria Almond from Tipsy Table added: “Just want to say a MASSIVE thank you for organising this. It’s been an absolute blast and it’s so nice that a group like yourselves FINALLY want to try and help support local businesses in our town as we are not always included in other events organised within the town. So thank you! I am sure not just from me but other hospitality venues too!”
