An accident in Streetsboro closed a major state route Sunday afternoon and officials do not know when the road will reopen.

According to a post from Streetsboro Police, a driver went off the road and hit a traffic light box at the intersection of State Routes 14 and 303 just before 1:15 p.m. TRAFFIC ALERT On Sunday 4-21-2024 at 1:13pm, a driver went off of the roadway and struck a traffic light box. What...The traffic light repairs are expected to last into this evening and may even go until 10 a.m. Monday, authorities say.Market Square Drive is open as a detour.
19 News reached out to Streetsboro Police and asked if there were any injuries in the crash but the police department is not releasing those details.
