Albion, N.Y. (WHAM) Police say a man assaulted a woman in her home and choked her until she couldn't breathe during a domestic incident early Wednesday.
Albion , N.Y. — Police say a man assaulted a woman in her home and choked her until she couldn't breathe during a domestic incident early Wednesday morning.
"It’s a very volatile situation," said Lieutenant Brandon Annable of the Village of Albion Police Department. "He broke into the residence through the basement, and then found the victim in her room. The victim’s room was locked, and he broke into there as well." "She had since retreated and got away from him, and went outside the residence and was able to call 911," Annable said. "We put a perimeter around the residence, and we entered and ultimately took the individual into custody without further incident."
Police said there have been several domestic incidents over the past two years between Enedy and the victim.
