90 percent of Western Visayas villages drug-cleared, says PDEA

Aklan and Guimaras topped the localities with the most drug-cleared villages at 100 percent, followed by Antique at 99.66 percent, Iloilo province , Capiz , Negros Occidental and Iloilo City .The report, which was presented during the Regional Peace and Order Council meeting at the Negros Residences in this city on Wednesday, showed that P87.22 million in illegal drugs were seized in Western Visayas from January 1 to May 31.

Iloilo City had the highest amount of drugs seized at P29.7 million, followed by Bacolod with P26.6 million, Iloilo province , Negros Occidental , Capiz , Guimaras , Antique , and Aklan .
