According to Ookla's Q1 2023 data, Globe is the"Most Consistent Broadband Provider" in key Visayas areas.
To recap, Ookla calculates a consistency score based on the percentage of a provider's data samples that meet minimum thresholds for download and upload speeds, set at 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload for fixed networks. The telco noted that they continue to invest significantly in network builds to deliver fast and dependable connectivity to households and enterprises in the Visayas region and the rest of the nation.
Last year, it spent USD 1.9 billion on capital expenditures. For the next 2 years, they allocated an additional 2.3 billion to further improve and expand its network infra.
