Violet was first introduced in episode 3. She revealed she was a primary school teacher and taught math for a living. Violet loved her job because she loves children. Violet was married for 15 years and had two daughters. She never felt like her ex-husband supported her emotionally or tried to help her financially to raise their kids. Violet divorced her ex-husband to become the independent, strong woman she is today.
Violet's Ex-Husband Failed To Protect Her Violet confessed how her ex-husband didn’t raise his voice to protect her. Violet wanted her ex-husband to protect her from her ex-mother-in-law’s attack. Since then, Violet never forgot the day when her ex-husband was incapable of taking her side. “I will never forget that for the rest of my life,” Violet said about Riley repeating the same mistake. While Tiffanie impolitely interrogated her, Riley did not support his girlfriend.
Riley Doubting Her Pregnancy Has Violet Feeling Shattered “I cannot develop a relationship with a man if I feel that he cannot protect me,” Violet had mentioned. Yet, Violet gave Riley another chance only to get her heartbroken. When Violet told Riley she was pregnant, he accused her of doing it because she wanted to get married.
