Rs15000 fixed as rate for passing one paper in Sindh Matriculation Board
KARACHI – The rate of passing one paper in Sindh Matriculation Board has been fixed Rs15000, revealed in the “Night Edition” program of the 92 News channel.
The corrupt officials turned the Sindh Matriculation Board into a money-making machine. Students are being passed in the examinations in exchange for money. The degree of Matriculation with A1 grade can be obtained in amount of 150,000 rupees. In the Night Edition program, the ‘sting operation’ of 92 News exposed the direct involvement of Ziaul Haq – personal assistant of Matric Board Karachi Chairman Prof Dr Saeedud Din – in dealing with agents. When contacted for comment, Dr Saeedud Din refused to speak about the matter.
Talking in the program of “Night Edition”, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that if anyone has proof of corruption, he should give them and they will try to punish the responsible.
