Sindh govt imposes ban to collect animal hides without permission of Commissioners
KARACHI – Issuing a code of conduct for collection of sacrificial hides on Eidul Azha on Thursday, the SIndh government imposed a ban to collect animal hides without permission of commissioners and deputy commissioners.
The notification also stated that no one will be allowed to install camps for the collection of skins or hides. Use of loudspeakers, writing or chanting of slogans and announcement from masajid or offices of any political parties and organisations will not be allowed. Only registered charities, madrassas and philanthropic organisations are allowed to collect hides. This is to prevent banned organisations from collecting hides under aliases, read the notification.
