The first-instance court sentenced Kim Nok-wan to life imprisonment for operating a Telegram sexual exploitation room over five years, producing and distributing hundreds of sexual exploitation videos, and threatening and raping victims.

Having learned criminal methods from the Telegram ‘Doctor’s Room’ run by Joo Ju-bin, Kim called himself a ‘pastor,’ and the channel was also called ‘Pastor Room.’ With the number of victims more than triple that of the ‘Doctor’s Room,’ this is the largest case to date, and a significant proportion of the victims were minors. The sexual exploitation materials produced by Kim and the other defendants amounted to more than 2,000 pieces.
