The Met Department has forecast high waves in the range of 3.5 to 4.6 metres along the coast of Karnataka from Mangaluru to Karwar and strong wind reaching 50 to 60 kmph.
The Fishermen are advised to not venture into the sea. In Kodagu, the intensity of rain has reduced, but Cauvery and Lakshmanathirtha are at spate in 52 locations. Landslides are reported from 14 places.
