5 Caractacus Burke's & Memory Of Merope Gaunt Selling Slytherin’s Locket The next memory Dumbledore showed Harry during their private lessons in Harry Potter was from Caractacus Burke, the owner of the wizarding shop Borgin and Burkes . Mr. Burke described a young patron in his shop who had been none other than Merope Riddle, Voldemort's mother. She entered the shop pregnant and was ready to have the baby any day.
3 Hokey The House-Elf’s Memory Of Tom Riddle Finding Hufflepuff’s Cup & Slytherin’s Locket In Morfin Gaunt's memory of meeting his nephew in Harry Potter, Harry saw that the man had been wearing the Peverell ring, one of Harry Potter's Deathly Hallows, which went missing after Voldemort's visit. Of course, this would later become one of the Dark Lord's Horcruxes. This wasn't the last of Voldemort's dark items that Harry would see in these memories.
