Yeah, a big-inch big-block engine topped with a big-displacement Roots blower is certainly a winning combination if you want to hit four-digit horsepower numbers. This blown 572-inch big-block is a massive air pump, and to feed it properly Mid-State opted for a pair of equally massive Holley4500 carburetors. These will not only provide plenty of air but also enough fuel to satisfy the needs of this 572 when it’s screaming at 6,700 rpm.An MSD billet distributor and a set of matching 8.5mm Super Conductor plug wires were put in charge of sending spark to the combustion chambers at just the right moment.
