IPOH: A former Politeknik Ungku Omar teacher from Germany is hoping to get in touch with his former students.
Helmut Ullrich, 74, who taught at the polytechnic here from 1971 to 1973, said he wanted to catch up with his former students, having not met any of them for decades.
“Now, 50 years later, all would have retired, so I wonder, what are the lessons that life has taught us? I am keen to know,” he said. He spoke about a former colleague named Chee Peng Choy from Canning Garden, but said he was unable to trace him.
