IPOH: Visit Ipoh Year 2023 will not be affected by projects to pave and improve roads around the city that have yet to be completed.
Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin said this is because work is still in progress and had been expedited so as not to disrupt the traffic flow in welcoming domestic and foreign tourists.
"Now we want to see where are the weaknesses and strengths and we to be able to overcome all constraints in conjunction with the Visit Perak Year 2024,” he said after presenting certificates of appreciation and souvenirs to 107 Ipoh City Council retirees at the ‘Jasamu Dikenang 2021’ event here today.
