An aged gorilla named Freddy at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has been nursing a youngster, six-month-old Jameela, after the zoo took in for foster care, revealing much about adaptability and family functions.
Freddy, a western lowland gorilla, holds baby Jameela on her back. Nearby is Kayembe, a young male. Freddy took over mothering for both of the youngsters, fostering them at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Jameela was born prematurely in January, in Fort Worth, Texas.
