The San Francisco 49ers will kick off their season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Just in time for the game, reigning defensive player of the year Nick Bosa signed a record-breaking contract.
San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young made his debut as the assistant coach of a Menlo Park's flag football team -- his daughters are on that team."He looked exactly how we were expecting him to look. Looks in real good shape. Looks ready to go," he said.
"But hitting and things like that don’t concern me too much. It is more just positions you get the body in and things like that, which you are more concerned about in general. So we have got to be smart with him, but we will see how the game plays out," Shanahan said. "I think this is our year. I mean it's do or die this year. The team is stacked on both sides, so I firmly believe this is the year to do it," said Niners fan Tom Diep.
