Woodby is the 16th-ranked cornerback in the country in the class of 2025.
After making his way to The Plains for Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend recruiting event, 4-star cornerback Blake Woodby decided he wouldn’t be leaving Auburn without first committing to the Tigers.
“Posted a laser-timed 4.05 in the short shuttle and a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash at St. Frances Academy’s Pro Day in advance of junior season,” writes Ivins. “Lacks length and is under 5-foot-11, but likes to be the aggressor and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder pads.” Primarily recruited by Auburn defensive backs coach Wes McGriff and co-defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, Woodby helps Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class swell to 17 commits.
