A third suspect faces charges in last week’s shooting Stark County shooting that killed a 7-year-old boy.
Stark County court records said Joseph King, 33, was arrested June 22 on charges of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony. A judge placed him on $250,000 bond. Stark County Sheriff deputies said the seven-year-old boy was shot inside a room at the Knights Inn Motel in the 3900 block of Convenience Dr. in Plain Township around 1 a.m. on June 21.
The victim’s father, 37-year-old William Dolch, is on $750,000 bond after pleading not guilty to reckless homicide, tampering with evidence and endangering children.29-year-old Brittany Franko, who deputies said is Dolch’s girlfriend, also faces charges of complicity to commit reckless homicide, endangering children, and obstructing official business.Deputies said five people, two adults and three children, were inside the motel room at the time of the shooting.
