The thirty-seventh annual Lil’t Bita Christmas Arts and Crafts Show will kick off at noon on November 3, and run through Sunday, November 5, at the First National Bank Arena on the Arkansas State Campus.
James DeBerry, Associate Director for Annual Fund and Development Operation for A-State Athletics, says they’re excited to bring back the event that serves as a one stop shop for all your holiday shopping needs.
“We are anticipating having two-hundred and fifty booths filled by having over one hundred and fifty unique vendors. There will be some boutiques, childrens boutiques, jams, some dried candy, honey vendors.” DeBerry says student athletes will serve as volunteers throughout the weekend event. With something new this year, a gift wrapping area. It allows attendees to purchase a gift and leave with it wrapped and ready to go under the tree.
The event raises money to fund scholarships for A-State student-athletes and is hosted by the Red Wolves Foundation. “Lit’l Bita Christmas is a big fundraiser for our athletic department. Something that allows us to engage with other members in the community who might not be as interested in sports," explained DeBerrt."It allows them to come out, and while they might not realize it, they’re still supporting our student athletes.”To learn more information or to purchase tickets, you can contact the First National Bank Arena box office.
