30 modern jeepneys unveiled in Bacolod

Thirty modern jeepneys were launched by the United Negros Transport Cooperative (UNETCO) here on Monday, Jan. 23.

THIRTY modern jeepneys for six routes were unveiled in Bacolod City on Monday, Jan. 23.

These units will be deployed to six routes awarded by the Local Public Transport Route Plan to UNETCO. The transport group is installing a fleet management system on their units to monitor routes and operations in the event that there are only 30 units available. UNETCO procured a total of 97 Class 2 FAW Modernized Public Utility Vehicle . The remaining 67 are expected to arrive soon.
