Bureau of Immigration agents at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport have intercepted three more victims of human trafficking who attempted to leave the country in the guise of being tourists.
During interview, the trio allegedly admitted that their final destination is Vientianne, Laos where they were hired to work as customer service representatives for a company with monthly salaries of up to P40,000. Tansingco said the modus operandi being employed by the syndicate is for their victims to initially fly to Thailand as tourists where they would later board a connecting flight to Laos.
