This came after they ignored repeated warnings not to gather for a chat in front of a house in Pinang Tunggal near Tasek Gelugor.

Seberang Prai Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Noorzainy Mohd Noor said prior to being issued with the compound, the men, aged 50, 53 and 72, were warned three times by the police not to gather. “On the fourth day, police went on their rounds and found the men gathering and chatting under a tree.

“They were brought to the district police headquarters by the Ops Covid-19 task force team where they were issued with the compound for violating the MCO and refusing to adhere to repeated warnings," he said today.Noorzainy advised everyone not to misunderstand police action.
