A Bremerton area man and 26-time felon currently faces assault and illegal firearms possession charges after a domestic violence incident on Sunday. At approximately 2:40 p.m., Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of an altercation involving a firearm, KCSOA background check on the 39-year-old suspect revealed he had 26 prior felony convictions and is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
KCSO deputies were able to seize multiple firearms at the suspect’s residence, which included one firearm that was reported stolen and two that were classified as illegal.
