Kota Kinabalu: Seramai 215 penduduk Kota Marudu menyertai program Kem Katarak Rotary Gift of Sight siri ke-3 di Dewan PPR, Taman Korongkom Jaya, di sini, baru-baru ini.
Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu penduduk luar bandar yang mengalami masalah penglihatan akibat katarak, glaukoma atau penyakit mata lain, khususnya golongan B40, mendapatkan pemeriksaan mata serta rawatan diperlukan.Program itu dianjurkan oleh Kelab Rotary Kota Kinabalu South yang diketuai oleh Presidennya Carlwin Yee bersama 43 ahli daripada lapan kelab lain di samping 14 sukarelawan, termasuk enam pegawai perubatan.
