KOTA KINABALU: Two women were killed after the four-wheel drive vehicle they were rammed onto a mound before turning turtle along Jalan Kampung Gana in Kota Marudu on Monday .
The accident also left three others, aged 85, 65 and 27 years old, including the driver, seriously injured. They were rushed to Kota Marudu Hospital for immediate medical attention. Kota Marudu OCPD Supt Zairolnizal Ishak said initial investigation revealed that the driver had lost control of the vehicle before hitting the mound, overturned and landed on a cement drain by the roadside.
