Presentations will include an overview of the 2025 PRVI NSHM, an introduction to corresponding risk products, and discussions on building code applications. A dedicated User-Needs session in the afternoon will guide participants through the available USGS web tools, providing demonstrations, hands‑on examples, and opportunities for feedback. Model users, including local and federal government public safety officials and policy makers, as well as members of the public who are interested in earthquake safety, are encouraged to attend. We recognize that English may not be your preferred language and appreciate your flexibility in conducting the meeting in English.We plan to offer a virtual attendance option for those who cannot join us in person. On the registration form, please indicate whether you plan to attend in person or virtually. In-person participation is limited to 80 attendees; once this limit is reached, additional registrants will be enrolled for virtual attendance. Lunch will not be provided, but there are several local restaurants within walking distance from CIAPR Headquarters that attendees can visit during the lunch break. The workshop will be held in the Colegio de Ingenioros y Agrimensores building. The room will be on the 2nd floor, the Salón Esteban Terrats. The multi-story parking area at the meeting location is open to all visitors and there is ample parking along the streets., approximately 15 minutes away by car. If you are considering using ride-share apps, be aware that Uber could be the only option.There are many hotels available in the area, although they will be in driving distance from the Meeting Location. Some options are highlighted with magenta icons on the map above. A few local boutique hotels are near the meeting, however, most hotels are to the north within a 15-minute drive. For government employees and invitational travelers, note that you will need to consider flexible cancellation policies and the government rate for your hotel choice.
