Pasay City police arrested 20 suspects in violation of gambling and illegal possession of firearms and drugs over the weekend.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said that 20 persons were arrested during the conduct of anti-criminality operations by the city’s police sub-stations and Station Drug Enforcement Unit members.
The suspects were identified as Josephine Marquez, 32, alias “Opong” and Leodelfa Padillo, 41, alias “Idol”, both residents of Pasay City. They were arrested along Tengco St., Barangay 108, Pasay City at around 10 p.m. on Friday. The suspects were identified as Christian Claudio, 30, alias “Pido”, John Aaron Singh, 24, both residents of Pasay City, and Jeffrey Cortez, 36, a resident of Quiapo, Manila.
