Two Vietnamese men arrested for allegedly threatening a bar customer with a gun in Pasay City may be Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator workers, according to police.In Bam Alegre’s Wednesday report on Balitanghali, the police are investigating why the two foreigners are in the country.“Less than a year pa lang ito sa Pilipinas and suspected POGO employees sila,” Pasay City Police chief P/Major Deni Pedroso said.
According to a Southern Police District report, authorities on early Tuesday morning arrested the two Vietnamese at a bar along Roxas Boulevard after receiving a complaint from the victim, who is also Vietnamese.The two men were identified as “Van”, 26, and "Hoang", 23.Police seized a Colt Combat Commander .45 caliber pistol and three rounds of ammunition from Van, who has no license to own and possess firearms.Also recovered were 1.5 grams of shabu worth P10,200 from Hoang.
