An agency spokesperson says the wingtip of Delta Airlines Flight 2577 struck Spirit Airlines Flight 655 while it was parked at its gate at around 7 p.m.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Federal Aviation Administration launched an investigation after two planes collided while at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Sunday evening.
A Delta spokesperson confirmed the 180 customers on the Boeing 739 were delayed for four hours while being reaccommodated on a replacement flight.
