Five people were shot and two were killed when a masked gunman began shooting in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of West Philadelphia on Monday night, police said.According to police, the shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. in the area of 60th and Delancey streets. However, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time.In a Tuesday morning update, police said that two men, Naasir Boyd and Paul Cobb -- both 24-years-old and from Philadelphia -- were killed when shooting erupted in the Cobbs Creek section of West Philly on Monday. Three others were hurt in the shooting, as well, officials said -- a 36-year-old who was shot in the stomach and has been hospitalized in critical condition and a 54-year-old and a 35-year-old who have been hospitalized in stable condition after both having been shot in the leg. According to police, the incident happened when a masked gunman fired on a crowd at that intersection from a white vehicle.Police are working to gather more information on the suspected gunman and the vehicle that was involved in this incident.This is a developing story; check back for more updates.
