Officials said that at about 2:45 p.m., the small aircraft was attempting to land on Longmire Road near League Line and hit some power lines.According to flight software, the plane left from the Conroe/ North Houston Regional Airport, about nine miles from where it crashed.According to Conroe PD, the pilot said he'd lost power and attempted to land in a field before striking a tree and power lines.
The two onboard were a pilot and a male passenger. Both sustained minor injuries and were taken to HCA Conroe.
