High wind alert with rain likely.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - A strong area of low pressure sits north of our area. A much colder air mass is in place. It is not going to be a pretty day. Intense winds out of the west could gust over 55 mph at times. The strongest winds will be later this afternoon and into the evening. Be prepared for potential power loss and possible property damage. We have widespread rain wrapping in around this storm.
The rain will end from west to east tonight. Strong winds will be with us most of the night as well. It will be chilly today with afternoon temperatures in the 45 to 50 degree range. Drier air works in tomorrow. It’ll take longer for the clouds to clear east of Cleveland. It’ll still be a windy day tomorrow, but not as strong as today.St.
