CLEVELAND, Ohio - A strong area of low pressure will track right over the area later this afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms likely throughout the day and this evening. The storms could turn severe later this afternoon. Instability parameters are not that great, but the system is dynamic, and that could lead to some stronger storms. These storms will be fast moving. Heavy rain is also a concern, and that could lead to some flooding in parts of the area. High temperatures will be in the 60s.
The cold front rolls through tonight and the storm tracks north of us... Strong winds with the system will set up later tonight and through tomorrow. Wrap around showers and colder temperatures will lead to a very raw day tomorrow. Winds out of the west could gust to around 50 mph at times. At this time, the strongest winds look to be later in the day and early evening. Travel impacts and sporadic wind damage could happen.
