JUST IN: 18 community cases among 463 new COVID-19 infections in S'pore; total at 39,850
Of them, 18 cases have been classified as community cases, the highest recorded daily tally of such cases since the start of Singapore’s reopening.
“From our preliminary investigations, another five cases were picked up from our active surveillance and screening of workers in essential services and persons working at dormitories,” said the MOH.The ministry added that more details will be provided in its press release issued at night. Over 11,000 patients with mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
