Crowley Police said Deeven Jones , 35, left, was playing video games with 16-year-old Tavion Swindell when he allegedly shot the teen to death. CROWLEY , Texas - A 16-year-old boy was shot to death by a 35-year-old man during an argument while playing a video game.

The deadly incident happened around 1 p.m. Sunday at a home off Celeste Street near West Main Street in Crowley, about 16 miles south of Fort Worth.According to the police report, while the two were playing, some "smack talking" took place between the two. Jones then pulled out a gun, placed it against Tavion's chest. That's when the firearm went off, striking Tavion in the chest.

Tavion's mother said he called him "Tay Bug" and he was a big teddy bear. She also says he was a star football player at Southwest High School in Fort Worth and had big dreams to either play in the NFL or be an engineer.
