Texas Democrats are launching a new campaign dubbed the 'Texas Offense' later this week in Houston.
The Texas Democratic Party and Representative Colin Allred, who is challenging Ted Cruz for his Texas Senate seat in November, are launching a new statewide campaign on Sunday to coordinate their activities ahead of the elections.The campaign, called 'Texas Offense', will begin with an event in Houston to mark 100 days until voters head to the polls.
'According to The Texas Tribune the Texas Offensive campaign will primarily consist of sharing data gathered by Democratic activists calling voters and knocking on doors, which will then be shared with other candidates down ballot.In a press release, Gilberto Hinojosa, chair of the Texas Democratic Party, commented: 'Texas Democrats are fired up and ready to beat Ted Cruz.
