PETALING JAYA: Fifteen medical workers have tested positive for Covid-19, says the Health Ministry (MOH).
Health director-general Datuk Seri Noor Hisham Abdullah said that 12 are from the Health Ministry, while another three are from the private healthcare sector."This virus knows no boundaries, regardless of race, religion or wealth status, even more so if you are a healthcare worker at the frontline of this war.
"Our simple message to the public today – please help us to help you. Stay at home," he said in a Facebook post on Friday . As of Thursday , a total of 900 cases of the virus have been detected in the country, the fourth highest number in Asia. The government on Monday announced a movement control order from March 18-31 to curb the spread of the virus which has so far taken two lives in Malaysia.
