putrajaya KEMENTERIAN Kesihatan mengesahkan sebanyak 14 lagi individu positif Covid-19 hari ini dan semuanya ialah kontak rapat dengan kes ke-26.
Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, perkembangan itu menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan positif Covid-19 sebanyak 50 kes dan 22 daripadanya sudah dibenarkan pulang sebelum ini.
Beliau berkata, negara kini sudah memasuki gelombang kedua Covid-19 bermula 27 Februari lalu selepas 11 hari tidak mempunyai kes baharu. “Seperti mana dimaklumkan sebelum ini, gelombang pertama jangkitan Covid-19 di negara ini merangkumi 22 kes dan semuanya sudah pulih. “Bagi gelombang kedua terdapat satu kluster Covid-19 yang dikenal pasti dan ia membabitkan kes ke-26. Berdasarkan siasatan dan pengesanan kontak dijalankan sehingga kini, terdapat 215 kontak rapat dikesan.
“Daripada jumlah kontak rapat berkenaan, 28 kes positif , 19 adalah negatif dan 180 individu masih menunggu keputusan,” katanya pada sidang media di Putrajaya, hari ini.
