kualalumpur SURUHANJAYA Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) memberi amaran kepada pengguna media sosial supaya tidak menyebarkan berita palsu mengenai penularan Covid-19 hingga menimbulkan suasana panik kepada orang ramai.

“Selain itu, berita mengenai Covid-19 yang tidak dipastikan kesahihannya boleh disalurkan melalui pautan ‘Salur kepada kami’ di portal berkenaan,” katanya.

Menurutnya, pengguna boleh memuat turun aplikasi mudah alih Sebenarnya.my di Google Playstore dan Apple App Store. Katanya, sebarang penciptaan atau penyebaran berita dan kandungan palsu adalah satu kesalahan mengikut Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 yang memperuntukkan hukuman denda maksimum RM50,000 atau penjara setahun.
