Teams are competing for the Walmart “Lombarky” trophy, Most Valuable Puppy award, the Subaru of America Underdog award and the Krypto Super Play award. “Pup Close and Personal” segments will feature Dan Smyers from Dan + Shay; and Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and his girlfriend, Nani. During the game, writer and director James Gunn will deliver a special message with his dog, Ozu, who serves as the inspiration for the character Krypto in DC Studios’ “Superman.”
