Brighton, N.Y. — No serious injuries were reported after 11 vehicles were involved in a crash Monday on Interstate 590, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the crash shortly after 8:30 a.m. on 590 South under the Elmwood Avenue overpass. The sheriff's office said the first vehicle came to a stop because traffic flow stopped, prompting a domino effect on the vehicles behind it. Eight of the 11 vehicles were towed from the scene, according to the sheriff's office, but the most serious injury was a complaint of neck pain and all people involved declined to be taken to a hospital.
