Amongst the chaos that will be the Multiverse Saga, these minor, seemingly abandoned MCU plotlines are probably better off staying forgotten.

Amongst all of the unresolved plotlines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, some are best left forgotten. The MCU is a complex franchise that showcases how the lives of superheroes intertwine with each other. This makes for beautiful solo stories as well as epic team-ups like Avengers: Endgame.

Carson was an undercover HYDRA agent who wanted the Yellowjacket suit in Ant-Man. However, after his deal with Cross was interrupted by Scott, Carson escaped with a briefcase full of Pym Particles. Those stolen Pym Particles have never been brought up in the MCU since then and while it could’ve been an interesting plot line with HYDRA’s misuse of them, HYDRA simply isn’t the force they once were in the MCU anymore.

3 Who Bought Avengers Tower? The Avengers Tower was an iconic location in the early MCU. What started as the Stark Tower, Tony converted it into the Avengers Tower after the forming of the superhero group. In 2015, Tony relocated the team to the Avengers Compound upstate, still utilizing the Tower for a bit before ultimately deciding to sell it. Though Happy Hogan was seen shipping out the Tower’s inventory in Spider-Man: Homecoming, it was never said who the new owner was.

5 Baron Mordo's Anti-Wizard Quest Initially an ally of the Ancient One and Doctor Strange in the first Doctor Strange film, Mystic Arts member Baron Mordo eventually turned his back on them after finding out the source of their powers. This made Mordo an interesting villain as his intentions weren’t bad - in fact, he believed he was doing what was right.

7 The Celestial Tiamut In the Eternals ending, the Eternals managed to successfully stop the Emergence. Sersi gains enough power to turn the Celestial Tiamut into marble, stopping it from fully being born and destroying Earth. This left quite a large marble statue in the middle of the Indian Ocean that would be quite hard to ignore.

Since then, Hammer has only appeared in the All Hail The King short in a cameo. There doesn’t seem to be any plans for him to return to the MCU at the moment, so the revenge that Hammer was planning likely won’t see the light of day. Even if there was a demand for a minor Iron Man villain to return to the MCU, rehashing Hammer’s revenge plot would mean that he’d have his own side plot, which doesn’t really fit into the Multiverse Saga.
