9 Eradicator H’el isn’t the only Kryptonian villain who had a strong belief in the planet. The Eradicator began life as an intelligent supercomputer that was programmed by a paranoid Kryptonian scientist to retain the planet’s culture and protect it from any outside influence. Eradicator has attempted to change the Earth into a new Krypton and even tried to replace Superman as the new Man of Steel when Clark was killed by Doomsday.

In the last few days of Krypton, baby Kal-El’s father used Krypto as a test subject for the rocket Jor-El would eventually use for his son.
