Star Wars is full of great villains that were designed to follow the dark side, but there are just as many characters that had the potential to be Sith. Every Jedi strives to uphold the light and must face the dark to do so, and some like Anakin Skywalker joined the Sith and became what they once fought against. Non-Force-sensitives face this same symbolic struggle, with even the noblest characters being capable of committing great evil.
8 Rey The Star Wars sequel trilogy was filled with moments that teased Rey's dark side potential, especially in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when she envisions herself as a Sith. This version of Rey was cold and merciless, remaining stoic until she unleashed her anger and started Rey out of the vision. The scene perfectly illustrated what Rey could become if she embraced the easy path and stopped fighting the darkness within her, growing even more powerful than she already was.
5 Ezra Bridger Like Rey in the sequels, Ezra Bridger touched the dark side throughout Star Wars Rebels, but it wasn't until the season 3 premiere that he did so intentionally. The loss of Ahsoka on Malachor V and Kanan Jarrus' blindness took a toll on Ezra, making him turn to the Sith Holocron to become stronger. Not was Ezra more brutal in hand-to-hand combat, but he also used the Force to make a Stormtrooper kill his allies and then walk off a platform to his death.
