A public transit bus slammed into the back of another Friday afternoon, according to the Inquirer.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon on Roosevelt Boulevard in northeast Philadelphia, when one SEPTA bus rammed into the back of another, the news organization reported.One person, a 72-year-old passenger, was pronounced dead shortly after the crash, the Inquirer reported.
A 38-year-old woman who was identified as one of the bus drivers was in critical condition and at least six others were hospitalized, according to the Inquirer. A SEPTA spokesperson said it was not yet clear what caused the collision. Philadelphia police are investigating the accident.
