A woman has plead guilty in federal court to sexually abusing two children that were in her care while she was employed as their nanny.
CLEVELAND , Ohio - A woman has plead guilty in federal court to sexually abusing two children that were in her care while she was employed as their nanny.According to the Department of Justice , 26-year-old Molly Elisabeth Duncan , of Beachwood , Ohio, plead guilty to the following charges:Distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conductA federal judge accepted Duncan’s plea on Monday.
According to court documents and evidence, Duncan was working as a nanny in Northeast Ohio from November 2023 to July 2024. She sexually abused one victim in Portage County and another in Geauga County, but under the age of two, and recorded visual depictions on her cellphone. Duncan would then distribute the files through social media which she shared with multiple users, the DOJ said.She is scheduled to be sentenced on July 22, the DOJ said, and she faces a maximum prison sentence of 30 years per count of sexual exploitation of children.
